Vincent P. Manning

Vincent P. Manning, Esq., a Manning, Caliendo and Thomson partner, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Rowan University in 1983 and Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1986.

Upon graduation, Mr. Manning served as law secretary to the Honorable Marshal Selikoff, J.S.C. in the Monmouth County Superior Court. A Certified Civil Trial Attorney approved by the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Trial Certification in 1998, he is a court appointed Arbitrator in the New Jersey Superior Court as well as the United States District Court.

Mr. Manning has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court, New Jersey since 1986 as well as the United States Court of Claims since 2005. He served as a Trustee and Co-Chairman for the Civil Practice Committee, Monmouth County Bar Association. Mr. Manning is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association.

Aside from his professional background, Mr. Manning was an honor graduate of the U.S Army Airborne School and served as an Army Ranger and Drill Sergeant. He enjoys golf, martial arts and chess in his spare time. He currently resides in Freehold, New Jersey with his wife and five children.

Nicholas C. Caliendo

Nicholas C. Caliendo, Esq., a Manning, Caliendo and Thomson partner, graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Business Law in 1987. Mr. Caliendo earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1990 from Syracuse University College of Law. Upon graduation from law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Florence Peskoe of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County. In 1991, Mr. Caliendo was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and became licensed to practice law in the United States District Court and Supreme Court of New Jersey. He also has been certified in mediation and conciliation by the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts.

Mr. Caliendo is a member of the National Association of Trial Lawyers of America (American Association for Justice) and the Monmouth County Bar Association. His civic memberships include the Amerigo Vespucci Society, the Italian American Association of Monmouth County and the Elks. He has practiced trial law in Freehold continuously since 1991 and has concentrated on the representation of accident victims and those accused of crimes for the past 18 years. Since 1991, Mr. Caliendo has handled hundreds of cases to conclusion in the areas of automobile negligence, general negligence and those involving felony criminal and municipal court matters. During that time, he has obtained millions of dollars on behalf of his clients, as well as protected the rights and liberties of his clients in the criminal justice system.

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Manalapan, New Jersey, Mr. Caliendo now resides in Monmouth County with his wife and daughter.

Kenneth L. Thomson

Kenneth L. Thomson, Esq., a Manning, Caliendo and Thomson partner, graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1992 and the Widener University School of Law in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.

While studying at the University of Delaware, Mr. Thomson founded the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociological Honor Society. In law school, he was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic and received a Certificate of Achievement in Law and Philosophy. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Thomson served as law clerk to the Honorable John A. Ricciardi, presiding judge of the Criminal Division in Monmouth County.

Mr. Thomson is presently engaged in trial practice throughout New Jersey, representing both petitioners and respondents in workers’ compensation cases and plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases.

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Western Monmouth County YMCA and Board of Trustees of the Hope Academy Charter Foundation. Mr. Thomson has also been an active volunteer in coaching for Howell Pop Warner Football and Pinelanders Soccer. A lifelong Monmouth County resident, he presently resides in Howell Township with his wife and two sons.

Edward Roy Rosen

Edward Roy Rosen, Esq., of counsel to the Manning, Caliendo and Thomson law firm, graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966 and Villanova University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1969. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

After serving judicial clerkships to the Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher and the Honorable Francis X. Crahay, Mr. Rosen served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Monmouth County and a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. With over 35 years experience in private practice, Mr. Rosen has garnered expertise in many areas, but primarily specializes in real estate representing both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions.

Mr. Rosen is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association—having previously served as a Trustee, the Thoroughbred Breeders Association of New Jersey—having served for many years as Chairman of the Board, Congregation B’nai Israel and other community organizations.

Daniel J. Eastmond

Daniel J. Eastmond, Esq., is an associate of Manning, Caliendo and Thomson, P.A. Mr. Eastmond graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. After college, Mr. Eastmond spent two years working as a concierge at the Trump Marina Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Mr. Eastmond attended the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law from 2005 to 2008. While in law school, Mr. Eastmond was a member of the PSU/DSL chapter of Amnesty International and the Blue & White Society. During the summers of 2006 and 2007, Mr. Eastmond worked as a summer associate for the law firm of Gill & Chamas in Woodbridge. Mr. Eastmond received his Juris Doctor degree in May 2008. After law school, Mr. Eastmond was employed by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office from September 2008 to September 2009 as a law clerk.

Mr. Eastmond is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Elks. Mr. Eastmond was born and raised in Middletown Township and presently resides in the Leonardo section of Middletown with his wife and step-daughter.

John D. Toresco

John D. Toresco, Esq. is an associate of Manning, Caliendo and Thomson, P.A., concentrating in the areas of Matrimonial Law, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Collection Law, and Landlord/Tenant Law. Mr. Toresco graduated from Albright College, Reading Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and International Business.

In May of 2008, Mr. Toresco graduated top three in his law school class and earned the distinction of Magna Cum Laude from Widener University School of Law. While at Widener Mr. Toresco was a member of the Law Review, an Executive Board Member of the Trial Advocacy Society, and served as the Student Bar Association Treasurer. In addition, he received the Elizabeth Simcox Pro Bono Award for his dedication to the school’s free legal clinic, won the Hugh Pearce Trial Competition in 2008, and received the Widener University Outstanding Service Award for his dedication to the University.

Following law school, Mr. Toresco was privileged enough to have been offered a clerkship in the New Jersey Superior Court, Ocean County under the tutelage of the Honorable Joseph L. Foster, J.S.C. and then under the Honorable Edward M. Oles, J.S.C. Prior to his career with the Superior Court, Mr. Toresco worked as a summer associate with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s office in the appellate division.

Mr. Toresco is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey as well as New York and he is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York Bar Association, and the Ocean County Bar Association.
